On behalf of the First Nation Shelters of Manitoba, welcome to our webpage! We understand family violence and the different types of abuse are difficult to stop, but we all have a role to play. This website is just the beginning.

It takes courage to talk to someone, get help, and speak out for those in need; our youth, parents, relatives and neighbors. Especially if we suspect any type of abuse or violence in the home.

Our shelters aim to protect, heal, and serve women, children, and families in Manitoba, with some shelters also providing services for men.

The SNG and Circling Buffalo Inc. are happy to announce Manitoba will be receiving two more shelters!

They will be located in Hollow Water First Nation and Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation. Please see below for the much anticipated news release:
